Drummer Nose: The classic nose of violet, plum, cherry and spice also has a savoury herbal thread adding complexity. Palate: The palate displays bramble characters together with garden plum, sweet cherry, and a touch of boysenberry, complimented by lingering sweet spice. Fine acidity and soft grainy tannins add the necessary structure for food. The long finish and lingering flavours show concentration but the relatively low alcohol allows the wine to stay fresh and juicy until the last drop has slid off the palate.
Forrest Stony Corner is a blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 22% Malbec. The result is a soft generous wine with vibrant blue/red colour, ripe cherry, blackcurrant fruit is full, with excellent depth and richness, sweet chocolate mocha aromas intertwined with soft silky tannins. A wine that drinks well now and should develop gracefully 3-5 years in bottle.
Forrest Chardonnay 2006 This wine has fresh vibrant fruit flavours, subtle oak and focussed acidity. It abounds with cirtrus (lemon/grapefruit) and stonefruit (nectarine/white peach) flavours and that lovely yeast lees derived, oatern/toffee biscuit aroma. Soft and harmonious with excellent depth and weight on the palate, the wine will benefit from 2-4 years cellaring. A perfect accompaniment with fresh manuka smoked Marlborough Sounds Moki.
Nautilus Champagne Pale straw in colour with a fine bead and creamy mousse. The wine has a distinctive nutty boutique, which shows the richness of a pinot noir dominant blend and the benefits of extended maturation. An elegant finely structured wine in which the fruit flavours harmonise with biscuity, yeast derived complexities crisp acidity to give a lingering dry finish.
Twin Islands Twin Islands Pinot Noir Chardonnay Methode Traditionelle is a product of NZ from the Marlborough region. A very pleasant bubbly wine to enjoy with anything that you want to enjoy it with. We have a limited supply of this wine and it is added to our gifts on a first come first served situation.
Bollinger Champagne Thanks to the finesse, Special Cuvee is by essence an ideal aperitif wine and is a fine companion to seafood and fish. Its structure and power also make it a good match to a white meat. Before being a great champagne, Bollinger is a great wine. Special Cuvee should be served at a temperature of 10 degrees celcius.
The Valleys - Awatere Valley Savignon Blanc 2009 Char grilled bell peppers, fresh tomato leaf and ripe passionfruit about on the nose of this wine - leaps out of the glass flavours; it's a unchy and vibrant wine, crisp and fresh with a good weight of fruit and long after taste; absolutely expressive of this exciting new Awatere terroir.
Crème de cassies (blackberry liquor) Crème de Cassis (blackberry liquor)is a lovely delicate French liquor. It could be served on the rocks, with lemonade or there are some ideas with the bottle if you speak french.

Bridge PA Syrah 2005 Hawkes Bay - this wine is a full bodied , complex and fruit driven. Maturation for nine months in a combination of American and French oak barriques contributes to this elegantly structed wine, which abounds in violet and black fruit aromas followed by black pepper, black fruits and spice on the palate. This is a beautifully balanced food friendly wine, ready to drink now and will continue to develop with cellaring. Trophy - Champion Classical Red Variety - Romeo Bragato Wine Awards 2005 (NZ).
